I have finished 2 grad school applications, 4 americorps position applications, and 2 job/paid internship applications for next year. My future is being planned...
Work is going very well. I have my own clients now which is very exciting but sometimes overwhelming to know someone's life is in your hands, to some extent. The organization is in the process of preparing to get audited so I am taking this as an opportunity to gain more independence and experience on my own with clients and the agency. There has been jokes that I might take over some of case managers positions because of how much I do now. Oh my. It's quite affirming to feel like you picked the right career though.
On the flip side, I have not been keeping up with my senior paper as much as I should and I haven't wrote the required case-notes/journal in weeks now. I must amend this soon but it's hard to find motivation to work when you work 8 hours and then have to come home and do more work.
And lets not even mention the (lack of) social life I have. Buuuut I spent the weekend in Goshen this past weekend which was the first time I went back since moving here. It was really fun and great to see people but now I am faced with everything that I should have been working on over the weekend.
It's snowing too much.
